Use & responsibility
Terms of service
Simple boundaries for a personal, owner-operated integration.
1. About Cowork OS Hermes
Cowork OS Hermes is a personal, self-hosted Hermes Agent integration operated by Michael Mulcahy. It connects to Google Drive through Google OAuth for owner-directed tasks. This website provides public information; it offers no public sign-up, agent interface, or paid service.
2. Authorized use
Use the integration only with accounts and content you are authorized to access. Account-level access does not automatically authorize sending another person’s content, confidential information, or restricted work material to an AI provider. The owner is responsible for permissions and applicable obligations before processing that content.
3. Permissions and approval
The requested Google Drive scope permits broad read/write access, including creating, editing, and deleting files accessible to the connected account. Retrieval is intended to occur on demand. Modifications, including creating, editing, moving, sharing, or deleting content, require explicit owner approval.
These requirements govern intended operation; they do not narrow the OAuth scope. The owner must verify approval controls and review the target, content, and consequences of an action before approving it.
4. AI output and review
Configured AI providers may process retrieved content and task context. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Review generated information and proposed changes before relying on them. Keep appropriate recovery options for important files and verify the outcome of approved changes.
5. Privacy and third-party services
The privacy policy explains the intended data flow and identifies practices awaiting confirmation. Google, configured AI providers, and the website hosting provider have their own applicable terms and policies. Self-hosting the agent does not mean that all processing or retention takes place locally.
6. Availability and changes
This personal integration has no stated uptime, support-response, or recovery commitment. Its configuration, capabilities, or availability may change or be discontinued. Update these terms and the privacy policy when material operating practices change.
7. Ending access
The account owner can stop using the integration and remove Google authorization through Google Account third-party connections. Revocation does not erase data already held by the integration or a provider; see the privacy policy’s retention and deletion disclosures.
